Please join your friends for a wonderful meal, lots of laughs and a darn good time with other photography crazed folks. Join us December 10th for our annual Christmas party! Please RSVP by Dec 7th for a head count (to Connie or Dan Taylor).
If you wish to participate in the gift exchange, bring a white elephant gift (no theme). This is a great time to get to know other members. You are welcome to bring your significant other too.

Ted York is our featured workshop artist this October. This event is open to all photographers. Friday night is our monthly meeting so that part is FREE.
Saturday, October 5, Ted York will lead a hands-on workshop. The special Magic Valley Camera Club price for the workshop is only $40 (*Note if you worked at least one shift at the 2024 Twin Falls County Fair you earned this workshop for FREE).

With the fair all wrapped up, let’s enjoy what is left of summer with some history that put the magic in the Magic Valley. Bring your camera (and tripod if inclined) and wander the grounds of this old ranch that was a foundational resource for our area. This old guy has been here so long, he might need a refill. Please join us for a fun evening at the Crismor's Pumpkin Patch! Bring your camera and capture that perfect seasonal photo (photos). There will be opportunities galore of pumpkins, corn stalks, maze and so much more. Bring a friend or two to join in. We are meeting at 5:45 p.m. or a tad earlier so that we can take care of any business or answer questions. (Wear your autumn colors as you never know when someone with a camera will get you in a photo.)

Please join us for a fun-filled and educational evening at: The Rock Creek Station and Stricker Homesite dates from 1865 and includes the Rock Creek Store, Stricker House, a pioneer cemetery, and numerous outbuildings. This historic site, listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1980 and located south of Hansen, was an early transportation center serving the Oregon Trail, Overland mail stage route, and the Kelton Freight Road.

April Meeting; A Bender Photography Zoom Meeting 4/11/23 6:30 PM – 8:15 PM
We will have a Zoom presentation by Alyce Bender of ABender Photography. Alyce, or Bender as she prefers to be called, is a Tamron Pro Amabassador, Photography Tour Leader for Wildside Nature Tours, member of NANPA, PPA and Nature First. Her images and writings have been in such publications as Outdoor Photographer, Tamron Magazine, NANPA Expressions, Landscape Photography Magazine and Wild Planet Photography Magazine. She is a contributing writer and photographer to the Journal of Wildlife Photography. The presentation for this meeting will be on Wildflower Photography. Location is the old Burley High School-1600 Parke Avenue. Room assignment is TBD but there will be a sign on the front door with directions.

Regular club meeting with Kim Critchfield. This is prelude to the class held on Saturday from 9:00 to 1:00. Kim will tell you what you need to bring and talk to about composition and the rule of thirds. This evening is free to attend. Saturday is free to the people who worked fair and $40.00 for those that didn’t work.
