Adventure Opportunity into the Interior of Craters of the Moon National Monument, Saturday May 14th starting at the Valley Wide Coop across the rail road tracks in Shoshone starting at 8:00 am.
We will meet there and car pool to Craters (See Lisa Cresswell’s post). Getting this rare chance to get into the interior of the area and see the kipukas. . If you go by yourself, you don’t get this option. We need to have high clearance vehicle because of rock etc. We can then head up to the Little Wood River Reservoir to check out the wild flowers.
You can also meet at 7:00 am for Breakfast at the Manhattan Cafe in Shoshone before the event. NOTE bring lunch, snacks and water. Please comment if you plan to attend breakfast
