We would like to invite everyone to join for our July Camera Club meeting Tuesday the 14th at 6:30 pm at Shoshone Falls for an Ice Cream Social and a chance to wander around and take some beautiful photos of the exquisite Shoshone Falls area. While there may not be a lot of water going over the falls at this time the area is full of all sorts of photo opportunities and to make things even better we are going to have ice cream and treats. We are asking, if you can, bring a treat of some sort, be it cookies, cake, cupcakes, pie or whatever other snacks/treats type foods you can think of. We will be meeting at the picnic table area up above the main restrooms and lookout (see our post under monthly meetings for a overview map with directions), there is parking right close to where the picnic table area is. As a note, while there are some picnic tables (3 of them) for something more comfortable to sit in/on you might bring along your favorite camp chair. There is a five dollar fee for every car entering the park, so if you would like to meet up with someone at the top, pile in with them and ride down to save a buck or two, please reach out to me at mvcameraclub.photos@gmail.com and we can make that happen.
