We had such a great time last year that we decided to do it again this year! We will be meeting at Red Cap Corner (First Federal Parking lot, Kimberly) 3pm on July 9th. There is very limited facilities where we are headed so you will want to pack water, lunch/dinner and your snacks. If the skies are clear you may want to stay and work on some astro so make sure that you are prepared.
We do this caravan style so you will know where to go if you choose to return on your own later. The other advantage is that if you don’t want to stay as late as the rest of the group you don’t have to. Please make sure that if you are carpooling with someone you share the same ideas about departure time.
Leah said she is proud to share her photo of some of the flowers that were in bloom during the 2021 adventure. I believe I was told (or it may have been on a sign) that there is a type of Indian Paint brush that is only found on Mt Harrison.
